In this role, you will be pivotal in empowering families with children aged unborn to 18 years who are facing vulnerabilities. Using a structured case management approach, you will work directly with families to address challenges, strengthen their capacity, and prevent them from entering or re-entering the Child Protection statutory system. Your expertise will help ensure children are safe, cared for, and thriving within their family environment. By collaborating with service providers, conducting assessments, and implementing tailored action plans, you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of families while building strong community connections. If you’re passionate about creating positive change and supporting families through challenging times, this role is for you!Additional responsibilities include:Implement child-centered, family-focused interventions to address child protection concerns, build family strengths, and ensure children's safety and wellbeing.Conduct assessments, develop and evaluate action plans, and work with service providers to ensure families access necessary resources and services.Maintain confidentiality, meet legislative requirements, manage client files, and record accurate data in line with organisational policies.Engage in supervision, training, and reflective practice to enhance professional growth and service delivery quality.About YouTo be successful in this position, you will have:Undergraduate level qualifications in social or behavioural sciencesPossession of current unrestricted drivers licenseRelevant experience in the delivery of services to families who are considered to be vulnerable. Previous experience in managing caseloads, and effective time management.Theoretical knowledge of family systems and strengths based approaches to working with children, young people, and families.What We Can Offer YouThe salary being offered is between $84,000.00 to $98,000.00 per annum, pro rata for part time, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation. About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Undergraduate level qualifications in social or behavioural sciences
  • Possession of current unrestricted drivers license
  • Relevant experience in the delivery of services to families who are considered to be vulnerable. 
  • Previous experience in managing caseloads, and effective time management.
  • Theoretical knowledge of family systems and strengths based approaches to working with children, young people, and families.
